These Terms apply to the Matre Yoga five-week prenatal series and casual drop-in classes held at our home studio in Marrickville, NSW.
-
Payment is required to secure your place in a series or class. Prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD). With only five mats per series, a place is held only once payment is received in full. I reserve the right to change pricing at any time, with any change applying to new bookings only, not series already booked.
-
Five-week series:
• Cancel 7+ days before the first class: full refund, or transfer to a later series.
• Cancel within 7 days of the first class: 50% refund, or transfer to a later series.
• Once the series has started, it is booked as a whole and individual classes are non-refundable.
If you need to step away for a medical reason, please get in touch - I'll always try to find a fair and kind solution, whether that's a credit, a catch-up, or a pause.
Drop-in classes:
• Places are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability.
• Once purchased, drop-in passes are non-refundable and non-transferable, except in exceptional circumstances.
If a class or series is cancelled by the teacher, a full refund or class credit will be issued.
How to reschedule or cancel: by email at hello@matreyoga.com.au

By booking or attending any class, you confirm that, to the best of your knowledge:
• You have consulted your care provider about participating in prenatal yoga and are not aware of any medical reason you should not take part.
• You'll complete the Health & Consent Form before your first class and update it if anything changes during your pregnancy.
• You'll let the teacher know before class of any discomfort, condition, or concern.
• Your body leads your practice at all times - you're free to rest, modify, or stop whenever you choose.
Yoga instruction is not a substitute for medical care or advice. The teacher is a qualified prenatal yoga teacher, not a medical professional, physiotherapist, or midwife, and does not diagnose, treat, or give medical advice. If you're ever unsure whether yoga is right for you, please check with your care provider first.
-
Participation in yoga involves inherent physical risk. You participate voluntarily and at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, Matre Yoga and its teacher are released from liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation, except where caused by negligence. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Full detail is set out in the Health & Consent Form, signed before your first class.
-
You agree to treat other participants with respect, follow guidance given during class, and arrive with enough time to settle in quietly before we begin. Thank you for helping keep this a calm, held space for everyone in the circle.
